Highly recommend this venue for large(or smaller)celebrations. There are option for indoor or outdoor weddings. Grounds are beautiful! Summer sunset is also spectacular. Bridal suit has large space, kitchen, two bedrooms with loads of natural light and private courtyard We loved photographing summer wedding there. 2.5/3 stars for the venue & 0.5/2 for management= 3/5 Positives- A lovely venue,especially the outdoors with a beautiful view of the lake & the countryside.Dining hall is spacious to accommodate 300+ people A little expensive for what is offered for the venue but certainly not value for money Dipti liaised with most of the suppliers about everything they were required to provide before the wedding day Issues Dipti Suggested that things can be dropped off in preparation on Tues beforehand -Completely denied 1 week before Their policy of No other bookings on a week prior to wedding day, so the venue can be available for preparations. -1 week before,policy changed without notice.Other wedding couples meetings etc booked.On the same phone call,contradicting points made by Dipti- 1-If we had informed them we needed to rehearse the wedding,they'd have allowed 2-Cannot allow the use of the venue for other than the wedding Allowed to engage suppliers outside their preferred lists(with charges) -Not anymore On-the-day Co-Ordination was to be provided with all the details to be managed by them -Very little evidence of Dipti & co was really managing very much.If anyone asked for anything, response was either rude or the shrugged shoulders by Dipti -Complimentary bridal suite use for the night before the day.Dipti to have a run-down on the arrangements -We were 1/2 hr late,she was informed.When we arrived,she was waiting in her car,only to drive out.We drove in to park our cars,she drove away without a single word.So no details,no key to groom's room.No-one available at the venue.Dipti was conveniently unavailable by phone or messages -The Mandap arrived 3am.Dipti & co were to manage all suppliers at the venue from start to finish.1st event to start at 9:30 -Dipti & co did not show up until 8am,by then- Make-up people had already arrived & left Caterers had already arrived & setup for breakfast Mandap company were almost done Family members arrived & started to get ready & help with arrangements Some guests started to arrive DJ had arrived & ready to setup Where was management? Breakfast strictly HAD to be served by the caterers.We HAD to agree & pay the caterers to serve breakfast. -Dipti & co so rudely tried very hard to showcase their authority to shut down breakfast before it was time for no reason whatsoever Musicians were late -Result? the same shrugged shoulders by Dipti,we had to make the calls. Management requested music to be turned down due to,supposedly,a complaint from a neighbour -A complaint? -Music was barly loud,as the people in the back seat could almost hear the music -Outdoors,middle of their own grounds,Sunday afternoon.Really?? After a wedding photo shoot in the library,a camera left inside by photographer -Entry was was so rudely refused by management.Then grudgingly allowed to retrieve -On exit -No-one around,again all management left without a single word or instructions or feedback or even congratulated the family -Only 9-5 job for them.They made no committments for the clients' big & very important day.Not important for them,only their own conveniences,their sleep & money Few days later,Dipti hassles the bride that a hairdryer is missing -We found a hairdryer.Sent its picture to Dipti.No response.In fact,there's been absolutley no communication from them since,whatsoever.Not even to ask for feedback or to even ask if everything was ok. Dipti & co almost dented the couple's happiness on one of their most important day. Overall,the venue is great.Just be very careful of what you are promised & get it in writing,though they will most likely just tell you that they just decided to change that policy to get around that.Get all the details agreed & get it in writing,otherwise they will say Yes to everything & then disappear. To give credit to their efforts,they did build a beautiful purpose built structure at their own expense.But we could'nt use it,as it did'nt quite go with our arrangements,it was the bride's choice.

Do not trust this place, worst customer service after you pay the deposits. On the day they change their mind on what can be done and what can’t be done. Worst person is dipti do not trust her as she has no idea.

Amazing venue! Dipti and Jan did an amazing job the entire weekend, they worked so hard to make sure everything ran exactly how it was supposed to. I had a great time working with them 🙏

Nice and quiet location for a wedding venue.

We had our wedding here, the venue is absolutely stunning. Dipti, Mike and Jan did an incredible job with our planning and wedding day running smoothly and for us to be able to enjoy it. Only positive thoughts about Ladywood, we loved it, and so did our wedding guests.

Great venue for a wedding and large celebrations! Location surrounded by greenery and a great landscape to take photos weather permitting. Driving to the venue is also pretty straightforward using Sat Nav. Facilities are good too and well maintained. I would suggest capacity is in the region of 400 to 500 people but not entirely sure. The biggest downfall is that there are no screens to project photos or show videos! This is a letdown for me and could be addressed quite easily in both halls! Staff are absolutely brilliant, always on hand and on top form during an event.

Fantastic venue for weddings We had a fabulous time attending a wedding. Fantastic surroundings with brilliant picturesque backgrounds.
